It feels completely natural for us to work with sustainability

It is a natural part of our DNA and our values. We exist for our customers. We have and must be able to attract and retain skilled employees. We take responsibility for our society. The three key stakeholders are the basis for us and are inextricably linked. We do our best to protect the three. They are the for basis for our existence.

The future makes great demands on ESG and ESG data. Companies face increasing demands to be able to document a free footprint from customers, business partners and authorities. However, we are not yet directly covered byESG reporting, as we are a so called accounting call B company. However, we have chosen to be at the forefront and prepare sustainability reporting. Reporting follows for fiscal years, which are from 1/5 to 30/4.

We have chosen to use the reporting tool Validated. We have, among other things, chose this as it is recommended by our employer organisation TEKNIQ. It is a digital platform that makes it easier and simpler to obtain data as well as measure, report and work in a structured way to document our work with the green transition.

The social

We have a strong focus on diversity, diversity, inclusion and people in general. Both employees, but also with our customers. We have several social jobs and are very successful in adapting the tasks to different qualifications.

For several years, we have supported various social initiatives and each year select a specific project which receives extra focus.

The SMIL Foundation, which is a charitable association that supports children with serious and chronic illnesses. They give the children and their families a better life.

The primary purpose of the Brimstones is Christmas help – but they also support vulnerable children in other respects.

Take Back Concept

We will always help our customers to have the most up to date equipment and with the smallest climate footprint. In general, cameras and other surveillance equipment do not have large climate footprint. However, new technologies with a smaller climate footprint are being developed quickly. We have therefore developed a sustainable concept with a focus on minimal climate impact. We call it the “Take back concept.”The take back concept contains two elements: We call it the “Take back concept.” The take back concept contains two elements:

We always offer to take customers end of life equipment back and dispose of it in the correct waste fractions, including electronic waste. We offer to lease equipment to our customers for a 3-year period. At the end of the period, we can take the equipment back, advise the customer about new equipment and the climate footprint of the new equipment compared to the current one, or extend the agreement if there are no new technological or climate conditions that warrant a replacement.

Case example

We entered into an agreement with a customer which had to close stores and remove all surveillance from their stores. This was done by our technicians. In connection with this work, they made sure to organise all of the equipment. Some of the equipment was almost new and could be reused, while others were scrapped. Waste that has to be scrapped came to our waste container at the head office or handed into the correct waste sorting at a recycling site. In this way, we ensured the best recycling of the equipment for the benefit of both of customer and the society.

Shipments

We send products weekly around Europe for the installation of security solutions for our customers. For that purpose, we have got especially made moving boxes which are made of recycled material and are degradable.
